Death Valley was Established in 1994 as a National Park and it’s all about extremes. It is a desert valley in Eastern California. It is the hottest and driest place, the lowest point in North America. It is also the largest National Park in United States. Here are some highlights…
1 Golden Canyon – Carved by flood, it’s a three mile round trip.
2 Natural Bridge – It’s a one mile round trip. So short even kids can do it.
3 Devil’s Golf Course – Eroded Salt Rocks
4 Badwater Basin – You can see the endless salt Flats.
5 Mesquite Sand Dunes – Dawn is the best time to see these beautiful Sand Dunes.
6 Ubehebe Crater – This is a volcano where you can view it from the rim or you can also hike in it which is 600 feet deep. It’s about one and half mile hike.
7 Rocks Moving – It’s located in an area called Racetrack but it’s in a very deep of Death Valley.
Large rock moved and have left tracks behind.
Besides these, there are many other view points like Dante’s View Point, Spring Bloom of Wildflowers, Artist Drive, Zabriskie Point, Goldwell Open Air Museum and many more.
