Grace and Peace, Young Nak Church of L.A,

My name is Isaac Yi, Korean name is 이바램. My wife Yujin and I are very excited to have joined Young Nak Church as its High School Pastor. I was born and raised in Los Angeles as a 2^nd generation Korean American. I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was a high school student.

Ever since then, God has sent me to many different places around the world. I experienced the cold blizzards of Minnesota for college, received my calling to pastoral ministry from a mission trip in Uganda, served God and country in the deserts of Afghanistan. No matter what I did or where I have gone, I knew that the name of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed. Once I finished my M.Div education from The Master’s Seminary, I stand to ready to wholeheartedly serve our church.

It is my determination to see every student who comes to our High School ministry know that “Christ is better” than anything this world has to offer. It is my prayer that each of them will one day add their own testimony of Christ to the chorus of saints who have come before. It is my desire to see multiple generations of God’s people find their common vision in the Church’s head, Jesus Christ.
