A blessing

The past 4 years in college ministry has been a blessing to say the least. Every year was different and special and I’m thankful to have been given the space and the opportunity to grow as an individual alongside my peers and pastor. We went through a lot of changes but the past two years in particular have been a blessing because I was able to see the ministry in a different light. Because I grew closer to the staff and pastor James, I was able to see different perspectives than just a college student. I had a hard time trying to find a balance of what college students needed vs what they wanted because sometimes what we need is not always going to match what we want. Thanks to conversations I have with Pastor James and my mentors I was able to learn to simply love the people around me and the things I would stress about would solve itself. overall, I had a great time and there are lots of memories that Ill forever cherish.
